The company’s existing fleet of around 850 Citroen vans includes 220 diesel models. The company’s new order will allow the company to expand nationwide and further introduce electric vehicles to the market.

The e-Berlingo Van has a range of up to 171 miles and can be configured as a crew van or panel van. The vehicle can also carry up to five people and cargo. It supports 100kW rapid charging and can achieve an 80% charge in 30 minutes. The battery has a capacity of around 80kWh.

The company has made changes to its energy transition strategy, aiming to lower the total cost of ownership and provide solutions that align with future trends. In addition, the company will continue to sell the fuel-powered Berlingo Van in LCV form, and the Grand C4 SpaceTourer will remain in the range. Customers will be able to take delivery of their e-Berlingo Vans between 2021 and 2022, but Citroen has not specified a specific date.

The e-Berlingo also comes with a range of driver assistance technologies. These include a reversing camera, automatic high-beam headlights, lane departure warnings, and blind-spot monitoring. Other features include an 8-inch touchscreen, USB port, and e-shifter that is mounted where the gearstick would normally be.

40 Citroen e-Berlingo vans

Citroen UK has ordered 40 Citroen e-Berlingo vans to meet the demand of a growing market. These vans are fully electric and have 136hp of electric power. Moreover, the vehicle also supports 100kW rapid charging and the onboard 11kW charger can charge the car in 4 hours and 45 minutes.

Its electric drive system also allows the driver to choose between Eco mode for energy efficiency and Power mode for peak performance when the van is fully loaded.

The Citroen e-Berringo’s battery is capable of delivering 171 miles between charges. The vehicle’s batteries can be recharged via a 100kW fast charger and a wall box charging station in seven hours. In addition, interior updates have been made to reflect the new electric drivetrain. A new drive mode selector has been installed and the 5-in infotainment system has been redesigned to incorporate key infotainment systems. There is also a new head-up display available.
